Myrtle Beach: Attractions and Recreation

Famous for 60 miles of beautiful beaches, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has a lot more to visit if you wish to plan some touring around the conference.

Hobcaw Barony is home to an environmental research station and a 16,000-acre wildlife refuge. Or visit the South Carolina Hall of Fame, dedicated to past and contemporary innovators who have made outstanding contributions to South Carolina’s heritage and progress.

In the evening, hang out on the stone patio of the Liberty Tap Room or find out “what’s happening” at The Brass Tap. Enjoy fine dining at the Sea Blue Restaurant and Wine Bar or 21 Main at North beach Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach. You may also want to take a short drive up to Little River for dinner at Parson’s Table.

These are just a small sampling of the city’s many attractions. Experience more of this great city, and contribute to the Carolinas’ premier educational event in surgery, at our Annual Meeting in 2022.
