The South Carolina Chapter of the American College of Surgeons exists to provide educational opportunities for our members, be an advocate for our members and the patients they serve, and support and uphold the standards of the American College of Surgeons. We are dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and to safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment.
Please pay your dues promptly and join us in our mission to be a strong organization dedicated to the surgeons and our patients in South Carolina. The goal of SC-ACS is to represent South Carolina surgeons in State and Federal Government, with other healthcare associations, and with the American College of Surgeons. We also strive to provide meaningful educational and networking events for surgeons in all practice settings across our state.
SC-ACS needs your participation and support to remain a strong voice for South Carolina surgeons and the patients we serve.
We are busy planning our upcoming 2024 SC-ACS & NC-ACS Joint Annual Meeting that is scheduled for August 23-25, 2024 at the Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC. Please add this date on your calendar and block the time now! We look forward to a great weekend of learning and networking.
